Great video. Bought the Khumbu after Arthur Morris's urgings of Vested Interest. Took it for a 5 mile hike today with a Canon 500 mm lens and was amazed at the comfort. WE AGREE!!

Hi Paul,

Great tips, mighty useful.

I am sure this control point technology can yet be extended to shapes other than circles. On that great shot of the lynx, whether it is my screen or my vision, but I get the overall impression that there is a darker cast on the edge of the animal that could be dealt with, perhaps simply through a layer mask of a brighter shade carefully selectively painted in with a small brush.

Anyway, that is a good reminder of the Viveza control point technology which I like to use on Silver Efex.

I came across your blog through your Jobu Design Gimbal head, which is also very useful.

Thanks

You missed a few ( I will let you decide where they fit in )

You plan your vacations around Wildlife photography: you don't even consider other activities while planning your vacations

When you are done packing for vacation, your camera bag is bigger than your suitcase.

Number 1 is so true! I love it. 7 is pretty funny too... but I do try to include the wildlife in the landscape shots sometimes... So sometimes I start earlier. :-)
