Photoshop tutorial – Adding a Rule of thirds grid overlay – Today’s WildShots Photoshop tutorial will allow you to configure Photoshop to overlay the classic “Rule of thirds” grid on top of your images to help you visualize compositional issues.  The grid isn’t actually saved over top of your image, it just provides a visual reference for you.

The following video (in HD) will help you configure your Photoshop with this grid. If your computer supports it, click on the fullscreen icon in the bottom right of the preview below and make sure you turn scaling off so you don’t get any scaling artifacts.

    Hi Paul,

This is great. I am working on my workshop manual and was looking for a rule of third grid. ;-)
    Thanks!
